One of our most daring stabilizations to-date, 43 & 45 E. Clifton are adjacent buildings on the hillside of Over-the-Rhine that both narrowly escaped collapse. The more ornate building of the two, 43 E. Clifton was missing most of its floors and had to be almost completely reframed, while the simpler building, 45 E. Clifton, had a severe masonry bow extending into the sidewalk that required immediate attention. Fred Berger and crew have taken this hillside property from blowout to beautifully framed, and it now stands ready to be returned to productive use.
