Husband and wife team Patricia and Andre Bittner took on this four-story Italianate building in Pendleton, utilizing an award of state and federal historic tax credits to successfully rehabilitate the building into six 1 bedroom apartment units. As part of the development agreement with A.D.O.P.T., Patricia and Andre incorporated several social and environmental community building elements into the development, including secure bike lockers, discounted redbike membership for residents, and a fourth floor shared community space.
